About Me.
Hi, I'm Freja!
A nature loving, gardening enthusiast and mother of 3. I am based in the Huon Valley, Tasmania, where I grew up on a farming property. I have developed an appreciation for my unique surroundings over the years, and an understanding of how powerful and inspiring nature can be. Heather Therapies has emerged to share the benefits of nature and holistic therapies with you.

At Heather Therapies
I support mostly children and teens, but also offer parents and individuals with personalised counselling and support. I enjoy incorporating nature and creative based therapies into counselling practice to make for a more unique and welcoming experience. And what better place to immerse yourself in nature other than in Tasmania!

I also provide young people unique group work and counselling experiences. I have enjoyed putting together weekly group sessions for school groups, including a group for teenage girls focusing on building positive self-esteem right here in the Huon Valley.

I have supported individuals and families in both voluntary, organisational and private settings.

If you would like to know more about how I can support you or a group, let's chat.
